The 15th Annual Scientific Meeting of the SMA will feature presentations and debate from a diverse group of speakers united by a common passion. Talks will cover a broad range of topics primarily examining the physiological, physical and psychological aspects of medicine, aide and sport.
· A combination of the latest evidence and personal experience will promote lively discussion in these aspects of sports medicine. The relaxed setting and informal nature of the conference will encourage interactive debate and audience participation to fully utilise the expertise present.
Mission
Our Medical Symposiums feature presentations and debate from a diverse group of speakers that encompass a broad range of topics including medical, legal and financial. A combination of the latest evidence and personal experience should promote lively discussion. The relaxed setting and informal nature of the conference encourages interactive audience participation to fully utilise the expertise present.
As part of our charter we deliver educational sessions to medical staff at hospitals in Male’, offer advice to government departments and run clinics at community health care centres. We also acquire medical equipment for the disadvantaged and raise much needed funds for people in need.
The combination of all these diverse elements illustrates the different dimension our symposiums add that distinguishes them from most other medical conferences. There is also an opportunity for conference delegates to participate in long running projects that the SMA conducts.
